Devansha Mehrotra was a Business Analytics master's student at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business and graduated in May 2022. Pursuing a STEM-designated program in business analytics, Devansha's academic focus encompasses a range of courses including Empirical Economics, Operations Analytics, and Strategic Management. This comprehensive curriculum has provided her with ample opportunities to work with large datasets, utilizing analytical tools such as SQL, R, and Tableau to deliver data-driven insights and enhance business performance. Before her enrollment at Fuqua, Devansha accrued four years of professional experience as an International Tax Consultant at esteemed firms KPMG and PwC in India. She holds a Chartered Accountant license, which is equivalent to a US CPA. During her tenure as a consultant, she engaged in advisory projects that involved formulating strategies for clients to enter new markets and countries, designing tax-efficient business models, managing annual compliance requirements, and fostering new client relationships. Devansha's consulting background has instilled in her a deep appreciation for data-driven decision-making and its pivotal role in shaping organizational strategies and business outcomes. Her career aspiration is to leverage her consulting expertise to assist business managers in making informed decisions based on data analysis.
