Kaivalya Karkare is a 2nd year MBA student at the Indian Institute of Management, specializing in investment finance, business strategy and geopolitics. He is part of the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).
Kaivalya has co-founded Finvant Research Capital LLP - a quantitative finance firm which works in the space of developing trading strategies and ensembles for the Indian derivatives market. Finvant's clientele includes institutional investors, family offices, and HNIs in Ahmedabad, Goa, Delhi, and Mumbai.
During his undergraduation at IIM Indore, Kaivalya was the elected Vice-President of the Student Council, and was nominated to the student delegations representing the institute before the EQUIS and AACSB accreditation teams. Kaivalya was also a President of the Investing Club. He was a foreign exchange student at Emlyon Business School, France as part of their Global BBA programme.
Kaivalya has been an active quizzer from his days in school, winning accolades at the state and national levels for his alma maters - including the Tata Crucible, Bournvita Quiz, and Nihilanth amongst others. He is a voracious reader, and writes on geopolitics and business affairs in his past time.
